Hi, I’m Claye, the founder and educator of Coastal Roots Academy. I’m a certified teacher with 12 years of teaching experience in Pre-K through 6th grade.
As both a mom and educator, I value connection, curiosity, and meaningful learning moments. I created Coastal Roots Academy to provide families with a small, high-quality microschool option that blends strong academics with creativity, social-emotional growth, and individualized instruction. I hope to create a learning environment for children that is joyful, hands-on, and deeply connected. A place where kids can feel safe, inspired, and excited to learn every day.
