What’s Included With Tuition

Annual tuition covers a full, supportive learning experience designed for each child. Your student will have:

  • Individualized Instruction: A certified, experienced teacher providing personalized guidance every day.

  • Supplies & Materials: Everything needed for learning and enrichment — including individual Chromebooks, STEM toys, science experiment kits, coding robots, STEM games, gardening materials, and more.

  • Special Enrichment Guests: Monthly visits from guest teachers for authentic, hands-on experiences in art, music, STEM, and life skills.

  • Our goal is to provide meaningful, authentic enrichment — and that requires the right tools, experiences, and guidance to make every day engaging, hands-on, and tailored to your child.

**Also keep in mind that a good portion of tuition is able to be covered by the state of Florida if your student qualifies. Please reach out if you need guidance on how to apply or see below for more information!

Once we get to this step, parents will accept an invitation to enroll in our microschool that partners with Prenda, the accredited curriculum resource company. All payments will be made through Prenda and will be divided into monthly payments. All schlorship money will be deducted from the annual tuition.

Scholarships

We understand that every family’s budget is different, and we want Coastal Roots Academy education to be accessible. Florida offers several scholarship programs that can help cover part or all of a private school tuition, including micro-schools. These includes options for all families, as well as specialized scholarships for students with unique learning needs.Below are the most common options families use:

Florida Education Scholarships:

Personalized Education Program (PEP) Scholarship

The PEP Scholarship is designed for families who choose a personalized or homeschool-style education.

• Available to Florida K–12 students who are not enrolled full-time in public school

• Provides approximately $8,000 per year in education funds

• Can be used for instructional programs, curriculum, tutoring, and learning supports

Many families use PEP funds to offset a large portion of microschool tuition.

Family Empowerment Scholarship – Educational Options (FES-EO)

This scholarship supports families choosing alternatives to traditional public school.

• Available to most Florida students, regardless of income

• Funds may be applied toward private or microschool tuition

• Award amounts vary, but are often similar to PEP funding

Family Empowerment Scholarship for Students with Unique Abilities (FES-UA)

This option is for students with documented learning differences or disabilities.

• Provides education funds that may be used for tuition, therapies, curriculum, and related services

• Award amounts vary based on student needs and are often higher than general scholarships
